Every tree, site, and situation is different. Our approach combines established arboricultural science and industry standards with practical field experience to understand the conditions, concerns, and circumstances unique to each project.
We begin with careful observation and objective assessment, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques when additional information is needed. We then evaluate our findings in the broader context of the site and the client’s objectives to provide clear, well-supported recommendations grounded in both science and practical application.
Eric Gowens
Eric is the Principal Arborist and founder of TotaliTREE Consulting Group, bringing more than 18 years of experience in the arboricultural industry. His background began in production arboriculture as a climbing arborist, giving him a practical understanding of trees that continues to shape his approach to consulting today.
As an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist, Eric draws on both practical field experience and a strong foundation in arboricultural science to help clients better understand their trees and the often-complex decisions surrounding them. His work includes tree risk and health assessment, advanced diagnostics, development consulting, tree appraisal, and litigation support.
Eric’s approach is rooted in a genuine appreciation for trees and the role they play in our landscapes and communities. He believes good consulting starts with understanding the tree, the site, and the people involved.
